Incorrect username or password error
Verify your password
Check the password sent to your personal email address from noreply.accounts@furman.edu and make sure you are typing in the characters correctly. Sometimes the password assigned can be confusing since some characters are similar. to read correctly due to certain fonts having such similar characters, like I (uppercase eye), l (lowercase el), 1 (number one), | (vertical bar or pipe). The vertical bar character on your keyboard is Shift+backslash key, above the Enter key. Other similar characters are L (uppercase el) and [ (punctuation left bracket), as well as the character S (capital es) and $ (dollar sign). If you need to, you can zoom in to make sure you are seeing the correct characters.
Using Student ID number
Don’t confuse your Furman student ID number with your username. You will rarely be asked to enter your Furman student ID number to login to a system.
Problems with MyFurman
If you are having difficulty with MyFurman, go to https://my.furman.edu and make sure you click the blue box that says Use My School ID. This will take you to the Furman login page and then you will use your network credentials.
