Due to university security policies, we must be able to verify your identity before we can reset your Furman password. Here are some ways you can reset the password if it has expired or you have forgotten the password.
Password Station (FUPass)
You can use Password Station, also known as FUPass, to reset your password. You must already be enrolled in the system in order to reset your password.
- Go to http://fupass.furman.edu
- Enter your Furman username and rotate cube to number
- If you are enrolled it will bring you to the main menu. If your password has expired or you have forgotten it, click the button for Forgot Password
- Answer your questions and you should be able to reset your password.
Remote Password Reset
If you have not configured Password Station or your questions are not working, you can schedule an appointment with the IT Service Center to do a remote password reset. We use Microsoft Teams for the remote sessions so you will probably need to sign in as Guest since your password is not working.
- Click this link to Schedule a remote password reset
- Make sure to have a device with camera, mic and speakers for the remote password reset
- Have an official photo ID available to confirm identity. Acceptable photo IDs are:
- Furman ID
- Driver's license
- Passport
- Other government issued ID
In-person Password Reset
You can visit the IT Service Center in the lower level of the Library to have your password reset. Please bring along a photo ID so we can verify your identity. Click this link to Schedule an In-Person password reset as we are trying to limit the number of people in the Service Center.
