Box 2-factor Authentication

This article shows the setups to set up 2-Factor Authentication for external users of the Furman Box cloud storage system.

Furman now requires 2-factor authentication for sharing of files with external users through the Furman Box cloud storage system.   External users are defined as those users without an @furman.edu email address.

Instructions

Here are the steps to setup Box 2-factor Authentication:

Review the email sent from Box to Set Up 2-factor authentication.  Click the Set Up button to start the set up process.

Select the method you would like to use for 2-factor Authentication

Enter phone number for 2-factor authentication

Enter confirmation code
